  • Hi Allen,

    I keep receiving this message (Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\SimplePie\File.php on line 116 and Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\SimplePie\item.php on line 1036) each time I Click to fetch feeds. I started receiving this message only on the second day. I noticed it wan not updating itself (based on my setting). So I tried fetching the feeds manually.

    Please help me. Thank you.

    how many feeds do you have? You’re running xampp (I presume on your personal computer), so increase the memory for php.

    Did that Allen. Now working fine. Once again, you are the man. Thank you. By the way I have only 17 feeds for now. Likely to increase though.
