Fatal error message after loading Thesis theme

  • I installed Thesis, logged on to WP admin to choose Thesis as my theme and got the following msg. “Warning:require once/home/content/a/f/a/afalcone/html/wp-content/themes/thesis theme/functions.php on line 33. Fatal error:require once () [function require] Failing opening required ‘/home/content/a/f/a/afalcone/html/wp-content/themes thesis/lib/classes/css.php’ (include_path=’:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’)in /home/content/a/f/afalcone/html/wp-content/themes/thesis theme/functions.php on line 33.

    When I click on the link it says that I have not uploaded or incorrectly uploaded my website and then refers me to using FTP client software. Not sure what to do? I have no html or CSS knowledge. Know that I was supposed to change some code in /custom sample folder and lay-out css file that I didn’t do before activating thesis 1.5.

    Please help!

  • It looks like a file required by the thesis theme is missing. I would try re-uploading the theme and ensure the functions.php file exists in the theses/theme/ directory

    Thank you. Do you mean from my hosting site or from my WordPress admin? I can’t even get to my WordPress site to log on unless there is a way to do that other than by typing my URL and logging in. Many thanks!
