Fatal Error Message after Updating Plugins

  • Fatal error: Class ‘AVH_DB’ not found in D:\Hosting\6580540\html\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\extended-categories-widget\2.8\class\avh-ec.core.php on line 86

    Can someone please help me and let me know what the above error message meant? I updated two plugins, one of which is the extended categories widget and tried to put in a new post. This error message came up and I really do not know even how to start to get this resolved. My blog is down and cannot log into blog either.

    -check if the pluging in question is compatible with WP3.1.1
    – it may be interfereing with other plugins you may have installed.

    if it’s compatible with your version, a fresh download and install will do.
