Fatal Error Message using Appearance Editor

  • I was editing in my Appearance tab under the editor for my theme and I got his error message:

    Warning: require_once(/home/hogfarme/public_html/wp-content/themes/kvarken/includes/options-page.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hogfarme/public_html/wp-content/themes/kvarken/functions.php on line 171

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/hogfarme/public_html/wp-content/themes/kvarken/includes/options-page.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/hogfarme/public_html/wp-content/themes/kvarken/functions.php on line 171

    I cant even log into my account anymore! Please help!

  • Using FTP, rename the theme folder themes/kvarken to themes/kvarkenold

    That should allow you back in but one of the default themes will come up.

    Try installing the latest version of the theme.

    I downloaded kvarken and they do not even have an includes folder. So I’m a little puzzled by the whole thing. You should contact the theme author.
