FATAL ERROR- No one can view my website and I can’t log in to WP to try and fix

  • Hi everyone,

    Having a bit of an issue as when I head to my website (www.wecareworldwide.org.uk) I get the following error “Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home4/wecare/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/admin/feed-them-settings-page.php on line 69”

    Equally, when I try to get on to my dashboard to ‘fix’ it, I get the same message with no log-in page…

    Would LOVE some help as this is my charity website and I’m worried that we are missing out potential donors for the street dogs in Sri Lanka! Thank you so so much!

  • Looks like that plugin feed-them-social is causing an issue. I would start by renaming that folder something like feed-them-social-old to deactivate it and see if that lets you into the backend

    Thank you so much for that! But how do I rename the folder if I van’t get into the backend..? Argh this is so confusing!!

    You need to have access through FTP or file manger with your host
