Fatal Error ob_flush using WP External Links plugin

    I have been using the WP External Links plugin for a long time now. However recently, the following error started coming on some of the pages

    Fatal error: ob_end_flush(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /home/asadm/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2773

    As per the usual procedure, I deactivated all the plugins and the error disappeared. Then I reactivated the plugins one by one and discovered that WP External Links plugin was causing this error.

    For the time being I have deactivated the plugin, but it is really important for me to use it.

    1. It would be great if the plugin developer freelancephp could help out on this
    2. In the meanwhile, can somebody please suggest an alternate plugin that does the same thing as WP External Links

    3. Any light on why the error is caused?
