Fatal error on activation

  • I get a fatal error when I try to activate the plugin: Please enable “exec” or “imagick extension” before activate!

    Also my hosting provider answered:
    ” You will want to verify with the plugin author that it does not require the exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions, as both of those have been disabled on Synthesis hosting for security reasons.

    We do support CURL as an alternative to url_fopen. Your plugin author should know if they are using these functions or not.”

    Do you have CURL support as a fallback?

    Hi stefusiviu.

    The plugin have been prepared to use imagick php module instead of the exec() command line. You know, because exec() is disabled on some hosts for security reasons.

    ImageMagick and Imagick are different components. This plugin is available for both of them. You can ask your service provider how to install Imagick and Ghostscript.
