Fatal Error on activation

I am installing some demo data for the Total theme which asks me to install the Contact Form 7. When I activate it I receive this error message.

Fatal error: Cannot use $this as parameter in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\Total\framework\3rd-party\contact-form-7.php on line 37

Do you know what the problem could be?
