This is a free plugin and is therefore supported as often as I can manage. I work 10-12 hour days and have a family to provide for, so providing constant support for a free plugin that I created and contributed to the WordPress community is obviously lower on my priority list.

If the plugin is not working for you, you have other plugins to choose from or you can be politely patient and wait until I can make time to fix the errors that a few users are experiencing.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hi

I am also getting the same error

It’s such a shame as this is the BEST pinterest plugin out there

I’d happily donate or pay a small fee for a fully working plugin

    Best wishes,
    Chris

I’ve been poking around at this, and I solved the error that I was giving.

Firstly, I went in to line 61 and deleted a bunch of line breaks. That fixed that error, except I got an error then on line 115.

The error was for the line of code that calls to my Pinterest Feed. Turned out the whole time what I thought was my Pinterest username is NOT. (I have no idea how they generate them.)

    I tried this:

    https://pinterest.com/saynotsweetanne/feed.rss

And got a 404 error. I went into my pinterest account, and buried in my profile was a space that said “your username” which is apparently SweetAnneDesigns (instead of Saynotsweetanne which I use to log in. Hence the confusion.)

    Then I tried this:

    https://pinterest.com/sweetannedesigns/feed.rss

    It worked!

Went back to the dashboard and put in SweetAnneDesigns in the widget and voila! No more errors.

    I hope that helps someone!

    Hello –
I have your pinterest widget on several clients and I have fatal errors everywhere, I know you express above you are too busy to deal with this, I’d be happy to contribute a suggested paypal donation if you have time to fix this. I have about 10 sites a wreck right now. Thanks!

I can’t get a Pinterest feed to show up anywhere no matter what plugin I use.

I ended up going with the pinterest widget I just discovered existed.
    https://help.pinterest.com/entries/22367081-Buttons-and-widgets-for-websites

What I mean to say is I think there is something wrong with the feeds rather than with this plugin? Just a theory.

Oh, cool. @ ecoofficegals I’ll check it out.

Sure thing! Hopefully Pinterest won’t mess up there own stuff. Fingers crossed?? ??

Thanks ecoofficegals that solve the problem, and also gain speed and performance on my sites.

i will add to upur comment, that the pinterest “Button and Widget Builder” is at
    https://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_embed_user

If you just need to cut and paste in a text box widget… after press “Built It”, search the “Load the JavaScript” and select “Advanced” and copy the two block of code into the widget.

Thanks, I was in such a panic last night I was in a rush sharing my fix. In Genesis framework I dropped the java code in the footer scripts box in the genesis theme settings works like a charm!
