When visiting the sitemap we’re getting an error. This error occurs when all other plugins are disabled and using the Twenty Twenty-Four theme. All the sub sitemap pages are working like author-sitemap.xml and page-sitemap.xml.

    Hi @yatt

In my local site, I don’t face the critical error on index sitemap.

Does your site meet the plugin requirements?

Do you have any custom code added into your site?

All requirements are met. There is no custom code in the 2024 theme.

    Hi @yatt

    Kindly follow the steps below:

    1. Uninstall and delete the Yoast SEO.
    2. Next, please try clearing your browser cache and cookies before restarting your browser? If you’re unfamiliar with clearing cache, we have a?guide?to walk you through the process.
    3. Then reinstall and reactivate Yoast SEO.
    4. Enable the troubleshooting mode from the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. Switch to Twenty Twenty Four theme. Enable Yoast SEO only.
    5. Then try to enable the sitemap from WordPress dashboard > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site feature and enable the XML sitemap. Save the settings.

Let us know if you still see the critical error after following the above steps.

Kindly know that, when you enable the troubleshooting mode, it doesn’t affect the users of your site and doesn’t distrub their regular activity.
