Though seeing one’s website crash and burn shook this customer’s confidence, the plugin author resolved the issue within hours with a follow-on update. Our site is not using anything esoteric – Elementor Pro, Google Analytics, Header Footer Code Manager, Ivory Search and Breeze by Cloudways – so it’s good to know it wasn’t a sudden case of plugins’ incompatibility.

We temporarily deactivated Ivory Search, and @vinod-dalvi fixed it before we needed to find an alternative, which frankly likely doesn’t exist!

I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused by my silly mistake.

When deploying the plugin the freemius SDK removed the premium plugin file but the file reference was still there that causing this major issue.

It was my fault not to test it immediately after deployment.

I have released the updated plugin version 4.8 containing the fix.

I apologize to you for all the trouble that you faced.

Man, that’s not fair. It was a mistake but Vinod took care of it quickly and offered excellent support. The plugin is free and it’s fantastic.

@danniee I would respectfully suggest it’s not a question of fairness. It’s most unpleasant to see the company website crash, and I included potentially useful info in case this was caused by a clash of plugins.

@vinod-dalvi It’s a beautiful thing to see such a swift correction implemented, and we are back. ??
