That is indeed strange. Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or theme.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

I have tried it out… changing the theme, resolves the issue.
Thanks a lot for your promt assistance…

When i disable Yoast SEO plugin the problem is also solved!

Swithing Yootheme Pro to default template also solves the problem.

I think the problem is with Yoast SEO plugin, not Yootheme Pro template.

So…disabling Yoast SEO plugin or switching the template to default is nog a solution!

Vincent, FYI Yootheme fixed the Yoast/theme issue with the Yootheme Pro 1.8.1 update released this morning.

Hi Vincent, i have tested it with an other theme, and Yoast works perfect.
I did install yootheme pro completely fresh, without any plugin. It is definitely Yootheme causing the issue.
    Best regards
    Klaus

I have installed Yootheme Pro v1.8.1. It is fixed with v1.8.2.
After a cache clear the update appears in my wp-admin.

Thanks you very very much for your quick help!
