    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /wp-includes/kses.php(456) : runtime-created function on line 1

    is this something I can change in WP config or do I have to get the ISP to do some work for my money?

  • 1. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

    2. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
    If your line shows 32M try 64M:
    memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

    3. If you don't have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
    php_value memory_limit 64M

    hi samboll

    thanks. I didn’t see your update until I popped back in here to type a “solved”-update: it’s the same as yours ??

    Google gave me this bit that worked:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

    (I didn’t see anything in wp-config which is why I was asking.)
