Updated Jetpack to v7.7 and get the fatal error below.

Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com, Debugging Centre now reports

    Hi there,

This error is related to Jetpack’s sync with WordPress.com, specifically, when the site updates Jetpack 7.7 and runs cron jobs for scheduled sync actions, which were scheduled with Jetpack 7.6.

Our team is already working on a fix in https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/13421, but if you’re not seeing any actual issues on the site itself, i.e. you can access wp-admin normally and everything works on the front end, then it should be safe to ignore.

Was having the same issue. I disabled the plugin by renaming the folder, this got me back into my site. I then renamed the folder back and turned the plugin back on and it works again. I know this is not an ideal solution but might help.

@brewsterk that should work yes, as that would likely have cancelled any scheduled cron jobs in the process. It’s not really necessary, though, as this error doesn’t prevent anything on the site from actually working that we’ve seen.

In any event, this should be fixed with the next update.
