• Last week, WordPress and I guess WordFence performed an update. Following the automatic update, the following error appeared:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘wfWAFStorageFileConfigException’ with message ‘Error reading Wordfence Firewall config data, configuration file could be corrupted or inaccessible. Path: D:\Hosting\12128271\html/wp-content/wflogs/config.php’ in D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\storage\file.php:539 Stack trace: #0 D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\storage\file.php(476): wfWAFStorageFile->fetchConfigData() #1 D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\utils.php(844): wfWAFStorageFile->getConfig(‘avoid_php_input’, false) #2 D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\request.php(265): wfWAFUtils::rawPOSTBody() #3 D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\waf\bootstrap.php(28): wfWAFRequest::createFromGlobals(Object(wfWAFWordPressRequest)) #4 D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\waf\bootstrap.php(553): wfWAFWor in D:\Hosting\12128271\html\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\storage\file.php on line 539

We have been following this issue in two threads and are trying to fix the issue but we are locked out of our website both on the front end and back end. We contacted our host who told us that they could delete the WordFence plugin but they could not guarantee it would fix the issue and could not guarantee it would not crash our blog.

Can someone help us to figure out where to go to access our blog from the backend? Our content writers have always accessed it from the domain (bad idea).

    Thanks.

Also, when we go into our FTP directory, it is saying that we do not have access to delete the plug-in but have the original account information from when we set up to pay the host?
