• Hi,
After successfull installation of WordPress 1.5 on xoop 2.0.14. When I try it out, I got the following error:

Fatal error: Undefined class name ‘xoopslocal’ in /home/skypigeo/public_html/modules/wordpress/include/xoops-wp.php on line 113

    What has gone wrong?
FYI, I have followed the 5-minute install steps & verified all the values are set correctly.

    Thanks for your help!!

  • Hi,
Just keeping this thread alive, as I just tried to install and got the same error, but I don’t see a fix here.

    I’m using Xoops 2.0.16, PHP 5, MySQL 5.0.27, Windows 2000.

    Here’s the error:

PHP Fatal error: Class ‘XoopsLocal’ not found in <directory>\\modules\\wordpress\\include\\xoops-wp.php on line 107

    Thanks for any assistance. ??

Well after some Googling it looks as though this release only works with the Xoops 2.2 branch (which I think has stopped development).

Any older versions of this that might be compatible with the Xoops 2.0 branch?

Found a solution, might be obvious to experienced Xoops users, but not to me! ??

    Visit this link:
    https://www.xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3521

The fix: download and install “Frameworks 1.01” if you are using Xoops v.2.0.1x — that should fix things.

WordPress is now working like a charm! Fantastic script folks.

    Hi BradM,

I tried installing Frameworks from the link you provided but my WordPress still would not work. Are there any steps I missed?

    Kat
