Installed the plug-in through the Interface, however upon activation, am receiving the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in …/wp-content/plugins/scroll-back-to-top/controller/SBTT_AdminMenuController.php on line 53

Please let me know what other info you need in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your help, and look forward to working with you.

    Hey all,

The latest release did include some code that requires PHP v5.3. I’ll fix that to be <5.3 compatible, I apologize for the headache.

    Thanks!

I released an update that removes the feature that required a higher level of PHP. That should address the errors you are seeing. Please update the plugin to v1.1.2 and report back if you continue to have issues, but this should fix it. Thank you for your patience and sorry again for the inconvenience.

    Hi Joe,

The software development schedule took me away from this problem for some time, however, I have followed your suggestions, and the changes you made to the plug-in were perfect!

Have installed it into two (2) different WordPress installations, and the plug-in works without fail!

The options you have supplied are just the right amount, and I really like the options of so many different pointers.

Your plug-in is now part of the “standard” family of plug-ins utilized on every WordPress installation, and all future installs.

Thank you very much for taking the time to back-date the code for earlier PHP installations, and performing that updated in an expedited manner that introduced no ill side-effects.

    Your programming is top notch!!!
