When I go to enable the module it gives this error:

wp-config.php is not writable, please make wp-config.php writable – set it to 0777 temporarily, then set back to its original setting after this plugin has been activated.

The wp-config.php file is not writable in our production environment, but the changes the module makes to the file have already been made and exist in production. I still cannot enable the module, despite the changes it needs existing.

This is also a problem when deactivating the module.

    Hi gg_justin,

I apologize for this problem. Basically, without wp-config.php being temporarily writable the plugin gets confused. At this moment I do not have a workaround.

I am however currently working on a new version of this plugin specifically to fix this issue. In the new version the plugin will not need to write to wp-config.php at all. I hope to be able to release this new version in the next few days.

Once again, I’m sorry for this problem.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott!

    Thanks for the reply.

I have a temporary workaround that let me activate the module (but not deactivate it!) that I will be using until the update comes out. I’m glad it will only be a few days!

I just commented out the exit; after the error message in paypal.php (while making sure what gets written to wp-config.php does exist).

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Hi Justin,

Oh great! Glad you figured out a workaround. I’ll try and get that new version done as fast as I can.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I tried to activate this plug-in and now I’m getting a fatal error that shows up on every page on my site (injuredathletestoolbox.com) and I cannot get into my WP admin screen. HELP! I’m completely stuck.
