Fatal error when activating LDD Lite

    When I try to activate the LDD Lite plugin, this fatal error comes up:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /var/www/vhosts/mwbnorg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ldd-directory-lite/includes/template-functions.php on line 892

    This happened after attempting to upgrade from LDD to LDD Lite.

    Here are PHP and WordPress versions:
    PHP Version: 7.0.26
    WordPress Version: 4.9.1
    Server Software: Apache
