• Hi

I have a fatal error when importing a CSV to edit the variation stock in bulk

The step I do are :
    1) export the CSV of the current products I have
    2) edit the stock quantity
    3) re upload the updated CSV in the import

Then I get the Fatal error + the email below

    Hi!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, WooCommerce.

First, visit your website (https://sharkrebellion.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can't access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special "recovery mode". This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    Can you please help ?

Here is the error message :

The file stock-manager-export 1.csv has been uploaded
Product with ID 3477 was updated.

Product with ID 3654 was updated.

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Note that :
Product with ID 3477 was updated.
Product with ID 3654 was updated.

    > these Are the parent products

    The variations were not updated…

    @kaion ,

Could you please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin on your site?

Further, could you please try to create a test variable product using ‘WooCommerce > Products’ and then try to reproduce the same issue using it and do let us know your views?

If the issue still persists, then we’ll need to isolate what’s really causing this problem. Here’s something that will help:

    • Install a free theme like Twenty Twenty or Storefront but do not activate/switch your current theme
    • Install the free plugin Health Check & Troubleshooting
on your site – this plugin is developed by the www.ads-software.com team and is pretty good at diagnosing problems in such situations.
    • Once the health check plugin is installed, keep only WooCommerce and Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugins active for the admin side and try to reproduce the issue you reported. Make sure to do this only for the admin side – that way visitors to your site won’t be affected.
    • Here’s a nice article that explains this process.
    • If the issue does not occur, it means the problem is with some other plugin. You may try activating/deactivating a combination of plugins to figure out exactly what causes the problem.

Do try the above steps and let us know your views.
