    My apologies in advance, but my clients site is currently in Under Construction mode. There’s a form there that does work but it”s not connected to the plugin.

    My problem is I have a from embedded in the footer of my clients upcoming site. But when trying it out, I get the following fatal error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 3 passed to MC4WP_MailChimp::list_add_tags_to_subscriber() must be of the type array, null given, called in /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/class-mailchimp.php on line 97 and defined in /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/class-mailchimp.php:151 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/class-mailchimp.php(97): MC4WP_MailChimp->list_add_tags_to_subscriber(‘443239e27b’, Object(stdClass), NULL) #1 /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/forms/class-form-listener.php(134): MC4WP_MailChimp->list_subscribe(‘443239e27b’, ‘[email protected]…’, Array, ‘1’, ‘1’) #2 /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/forms/class-form-listener.php(54): MC4WP_Form_Listener->process_subscribe_form(Object(MC4WP_Form)) #3 /home/cus in /home/customer/www/touchglovz.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/class-mailchimp.php on line 151

    Already went ahead and deactivated plugins but no change. Theme in Ocean WP. Why is this happening?

    Under Mailchimp for WP > Form > Settings, what is filled in the Subscriber tags field? Does it maybe have just a space or a comma in it that you can remove, or some other unexpected character?

    Hello @databell96,

    We believe this should be fixed if you update to the version we just released, Mailchimp for WordPress version 4.8.3.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

    Thank God it was resolved. In our case, this error generated dozen of duplicate orders (Woocommerce), and also the orders didn’t get through our Payment Gateway. After the update, the orders started to come in normally.
