Fatal Error when trying to customize

  • After upgrading from v 3.0.4 to v 3.0.5 when trying to customize the theme errors appear. We do have a child theme. The errors are:

    I have downgraded to v 3.0.4 and the error no longer appears.

    I am sorry for the trouble.

    I am wondering whether the issue remains appearing while your child theme is disabled or not. If it does, seems likely your child theme may need some adjustments for code update added to the newer version.

    I finally was able to test again. Upgraded to v 3.0.5 again and tried the live preview of Sydney, not my child theme, with the same error as above. Reverted back to v 3.0.4 and am able to live preview Sydney.

    Just for some additional testing I disabled all plugins and upgraded to v 3.0.5. Live preview of just the Sydney theme still gives the same error.

    I just realized I am using Sydney not Sydney Pro so my upgrade id from v 2.03 to v 2.04

    Thank you for sharing your site’s info. It looks like the PHP warnings are related to PHP 8.1.x running on your server. Please try downgrading it to 7.4.
