Fatal error when trying to display picture galleries

  • I get a fatal error when trying to display galleries on my website.

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in …/class-wp-image-editor-gd,php on line 198

    Is this something that can be fixed or must I reinstall wp?
