Fatal Error when trying to load Customizer

  • I am trying to load the customizer via the dashboard but I am getting this error.

    Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Customize_Media_Control’ not found in /home/username/sitedomain.com/wp-includes/customize/class-wp-customize-upload-control.php on line 17

    I looked at line 17 on the file and this is what is there:

    class WP_Customize_Upload_Control extends WP_Customize_Media_Control {

    This is a fresh re-install and I had uploaded fresh wordpress core files so I don’t understand why this is happening! Help? ??

  • You can try to enable debug mode in WP and check more text for this error. Then you can type it here.
