    Hi, I upgraded wordpress to 4.0 and now I get an error on my site every time y tray to open a document. I can login, but as I try to open someting
    it gives me this message :

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/navap/public_html/wp-admin/includes/theme.php on line 200

    I would greatly appreciate if someone has an idea how to resolve this problem

    It sounds like your server is set to have a PHP memory_limit of 40 megabytes. This is generally large enough for a small site, but when you start adding on complex themes and/or plugins and things, that space can run out quickly.

    You need to increase the allowable memory_limit setting to a higher value. Generally I recommend 64M for most users, but higher is acceptable if you like. You will need to ask your hosting service for the proper way to do this.
