    Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue when saving the home page directly from the Custom Home page using the theme builder.

Apparently The Events Calendar is conflicting with Yoast SEO as well, when they’re both running. It started when activating Yoast SEO.

In this case WordPress caught the fatal error with The Events Calendar at ~/themes.php?page=so_panels_home_page

An Events Widget inserted into SiteOrigin Page Builder is producing the following error, preventing the page from being saved:

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 1060 of the file /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Views/V2/View.php. Error message: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string – int in /home/customer/www/psyorigin.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Views/V2/View.php:1060.

Any idea how to fix this?

This is what shows up in the Error Details:

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @psyorigin ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

For me to understand and learn more about your setup, could you provide the version of the following?

    2. WordPress
    3. The Events Calendar

    Hi @psyorigin ,

Thank you for your message and the information.

Regrettably, I have not been able to reproduce the issue in my test environment. — I have installed SiteOrigin Unwind v1.9.17 theme, Page Builder by SiteOrigin v2.30.0 plugin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle v1.63.4 plugin, Yoast SEO v23.7 plugin, and The Events Calendar v6.7.1 plugin.

I then set a page up, adding the Events List widget through SiteOrigin Page Builder (see https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZ6u18ncoCa), but I could not reproduce the error.

In that regard, I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme.

Please read the Testing for Conflicts Article before doing anything.
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

HI @tristan083 , thank you for your assistance. The fatal error occurs not from editing the page with the builder itself, but when doing it from the Appearance > Home Page.

As you can see in the screenshots below:

So far I’m editing and saving my home page like you did and it gives no issues.
I detected this happen only when saving the Home Page through ‘Edit Home Page’ in the Appearance menu > Custom Home Page.

Here is the direct link: https://psyorigin.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=so_panels_home_page
Could you check if this way you can reproduce the error?

    Thank you.

    Hi @psyorigin ,

Thank you for your message and the information.

Below is a link to a screen recording of me editing the home page of my test environment via Appearance -> Home Page, and I am not seeing any errors displayed on screen nor in the error logs.
