    Hi @namnh73

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.

Does the issue persist if you activate only our plugins and a basic theme (e.g. 2020 theme)? Could you try running a conflict test??I suggest conducting these tests on a Staging Server.

Moreover, could I ask for the version of the following? This will help me understand how your system is set up.

    • PHP
    • WordPress
    • Theme

I have same issue so I downgraded to 6.0.13.1 now. We’re running PHP 8.1, and latest version of WP.

PHP Warning: Uninitialized string offset 0 in F:\inetpub\wwwroot\site\wp-includes\sodium_compat\lib\namespaced.php on line 24

    and

PHP Warning: Uninitialized string offset 0 in F:\inetpub\wwwroot\site\wp-content\plugins\differentplugin\vendor\composer\ClassLoader.php on line 503

I tried to disable different plugin due to error warning on bottom, it goes to next plugin with same error.

    Hi @monkeyleo13 and @namnh73,

We’ve released a new version of Event Tickets today that should resolve the problems. Can you make sure both The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are on the latest versions?

If the problem persists, I would urge you to switch back to PHP 8.0 until we can ensure the PHP 8.1 compatibility is 100%.

I am marking this as resolved as in all of our tests this problem is no longer present, but if it still happening for you please let me know and I will help you figure it out.

    Best Regards,

Hmm we are not using Event Tickets and I don’t see someone mentioned about Event Tickets plugin here. Only The Events Calendar, and I get same issue. I decided to test on dev site where I can test with PHP 8.0.29 and I ended up same issue. Since you set this as resolve, I can wait for next version to see if you able to resolve it. Meanwhile I will use 6.0.13.1 for now.

Updated: it’s working with PHP 8.0 after I notice it not clear php cache right away so I went and cleared it. But we will wait since we already have over 200 sites that running under web server with PHP 8.1. Hopefully you able to add full site editing for WPJM soon!

Updated 2: Once I enabled this plugin, I get error again. I spoke too soon. Oh well.

@monkeyleo13 I know you left a couple updates on your message above.

Since there was a lot of back and forth with this last few versions. I want to make sure I am looking at your problem too, do you mind sending me:

    • Which versions of PHP trigger the Bug for you?
    • Which version of the Plugin?
    • Can you install Query Monitor and send me a screenshot of the area I show on the following video;

With the information from the video above I should be able to pin-point the problem a little better.

    Best Regards,

    Happy to.

    • Both PHP 8.0.29 and 8.1.20
    • The Event Calendar 6.1.1 (Only works fine is 6.0.13.1)
    • Got query monitor works if we’re using PHP 8.0 and here’s screenshot

On first warning section, it always one of plugins so I disabled it and it goes to next plugin. Now it end up query monitor plugin and I just leave it alone but you get idea.

Oh we’re using Multisite WP that running on IIS server, MySQL 8, if that helps.

I saw the latest version of The Event Calendar (6.1.2.2), I updated it and it fixed. Thank you!
