Fatal error with latest Woo

Hi, we have an issue with Sensei. We cannot activate the plugin without the site crashing with a fatal error. All software on the site is up to date.

Error logs: 2021-01-15 06:49:16 UTC [apache][access_compat:error] [pid 1061] [client 35.214.131.116:41160] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/u437-shwkmmxk8dub/www/wegmetdeweegschaal.nl/public_html/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/, referer: https://www.wegmetdeweegschaal.nl/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/

Siteground support says .htaccess in Woocommerce uploads folder containing the rule ‘deny from all’ is causing it.
When removing that file, another fatal error occurs with this error in the log:
