    Hi,

When I upgraded to the brand new version of the addthis plugin, my website received the following error:

Fatal error: Declaration of AddthisWordpressConnector::saveConfigs() must be compatible with that of AddThisCmsConnectorInterface::saveConfigs() in /home/content/94/4423194/html/wp-content/plugins/addthis/AddThisWordPressConnector.php on line 25

I’m not able to log back onto the site, or even access the administration page.

Any help would be appreciated to hopefully resolve this.

    Thanks!

    Hi Hevehitta.

Thanks for letting us know about this. We’re working hard on this issue. The quick fix would be for you to log onto your server and delete the folder containing our plugin. That should bring your admin functions back up.

We’ve been unable to reproduce your issue in our environments, but have possible fix. If you wouldn’t mind reaching out to me at [email protected], I’d like to get some more information from you so that we can be sure to resolve this issue with the plugin.

Same thing happened to me last week. I upgraded the plugin, and I got that error message, which crashed the whole website: https://www.artstroll.com/

I reverted to the previous version (restored backup), and that did the trick.

Today I tried my luck again with upgrading the plug-in, and this time it worked! Did you fix the problem in the interim?

    Hi Artstroll,

Yep, we pushed out a fix over the weekend that resolved this issue. Glad to hear you’re back in business!
