    Hi.

It looks like you are on a hosting service that runs an older PHP version..

    Can you try this:

    1. Go to plugins, scroll down to find “WordPress Hashtags” and click the edit link,
    2. Replace all of the existing code with the code from this paste https://pastebin.com/EQ9pTdyK
    3. Save, activate and see if the error is gone.

    Let me know.

    Hello,

Please install the latest version 0.3.1 and let us know if you still encounter those errors.

If so then please provide information about the error logs.

Also you should upgrade your PHP version if you are using one older than the required for WordPress ( 5.6 or greater https://www.ads-software.com/about/requirements/ )

    Thank you,
    Samuel

i started off with the newest version and got the original error. i’m not sure if i can upgrade my php version as i’m utilizing a hosting company for the website

That is great! Glad you did the upgrade, and no worries this is a minor version upgrade nothing would happen.

    Thanks.

For others, if you can’t do the upgrade, try this paste https://pastebin.com/zCWrMtTs
