  • Hello @hellowwwstudio

I hope you are doing well!

I’m sorry to know that you have this issue. It looks like you are not using the latest WordPress version. Please update your WordPress to 5.x version. The Smush plugin is not working with older WordPress versions, that are less than 5.x.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi,

That’s really not good especially since the plugin states its compatible with 4.6 and above… now will need to revert due to this.

    Hello @mwhym

I’m really sorry for any frustration caused by this. I’ve already pinged our devs & authors to sort this out and make the proper update on the plugin page here.

On the other hand, it’s always advisable to keep up with the latest WP version as other plugins/themes can be using new functions/hooks, as well as a matter of security due to many fixes that are included in every core update.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris
