After updating the plugin we are now seeing an error:

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_BOOLEAN_AND, expecting ‘)’ in …/wp-content/plugins/advanced-post-list/includes/class/class-apl-query.php on line 331”

It won’t activate at all now. Any clues what is happening? Many thanks

Got an error too this morning with the update… Whole site down with only a blank screen until I deactivate the plugin. No error message.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

And now same warning as in previous messages in this thread after trying to reinstall.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_BOOLEAN_AND, expecting ‘)’ in /var…/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/advanced-post-list/includes/class/class-apl-query.php on line 331

    Thx

Thank you for reporting on this. The plugin has been reverted back to 0.3.7, and if you manually replace the files with the 0.3.7 files. Everything should return as it was with the old database.

I have a hotfix that should correct this issue. Just need to download it an replace the files.

Hotfix for Fatal Error in 0.4.0

DO NOT Uninstall. APL has an Uninstall function in WP that removes the database. Be sure to replace the files manually.

Awesome! Thank you for confirming this.

Another update (0.4.1) should be available for platforms within the next hour or so.

    I encounter a similar error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /home/saltstudio/wp-content/plugins/advanced-post-list/includes/class/class-apl-post-list.php on line 337

    Please help.
