    Hi,
I received the following notification from WordPress

“Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache.”

I disabled the plugin and my site is working again. However, when I try to delete the plugin, I get the following message from my wordpress admin panel:

“Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”
Here is some more info about my site:
    WordPress version 5.9.3
    Current theme: EasyBlog (version 1.1.3)
Current plugin: WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache (version 3.2.5)
    PHP version 5.6.40

Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi,

You can delete the plugin via FTP. Do you still experience the same issue if you do that?

    Thanks,
    Bryle
