    come on……some masters……….show me the way……..

Rename with the help of ftp client (or smthg else), the folder /wp-content/plugins/redirection to something other, e.g. redirection2
Then log in to the admin panel and update the redirection plugin.
It is recommended to update all plugins.

just happened to me when I tried to upgrade…

Solution ( – worked for me anyways)
If you ftp into your site and delete the redirection folder from your plugins folder, that might work. (I read on another thread that it might be redirection plugin).

    e.g. /yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins

    I don’t have a redirection folder.

wow that scared the hell out of me!

But renaming the redirection plugin folder did the trick!

    thanks plenty

If the problem isn’t resolved through renaming the redirections plugin, you can rename your entire plugins folder to plugins2, then systematically reinstall plugins until you find the problem child.

You’ll also need to create a new, empty plugins folder first. Sorry didn’t include in previous.
