Fatal Errors

  • My site has crashed due to an error in Word Fence – bluehost sent me this message:

    [26-Jul-2016 14:08:49 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home2/gskene/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/php/54/usr/lib64:/usr/php/54/usr/share/pear’) in Unknown on line 0

    Sorry to hear that, could you please confirm if this file “wordfence-waf.php” exists in the root of your website?

    To regain access to your website and deactivate Wordfence firewall please follow these steps mentioned here, these two sections in particular “How you regain access to your site” and “How to reactivate Wordfence once you’re regained access”.

    You can re-configure the firewall again after that.
