    Broke my product page. While this was resolved with an update, who knows how long my product page was reporting errors to clients. I despise any plugin that causes fatal errors. TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST.

    All code on this site is 100% volunteer supported, volunteer developer and 100% optional and offered for free.

    No one asked you to install this plugin. No one asked you to be anyone’s “guinea pigs”. And your review is rude and more importantly to anyone who is reading your review you wrote this.

    While this was resolved with an update

    Basically

    1. You made a decision to install a free plugin on your own.
    2. You and others ran into a problem.
    3. The developer fixed it on an update.
    4. A positive outcome was reached.

    Instead of a “thanks for that positive outcome after some trouble” you decided to pay back the developer with a 2 star review. OK then. That is your option and you can do that and did.

    Anyone reading this review, and people do, can make up their mind about the quality of this feedback from an opensource user of this plugin who is accepting the plugin developer’s gift to the community for free and on their own time.

    Probably not very long as we do not wait to release fixes in weekly or monthly updates. You can find information about release dates, fixes, and changes in the change log available at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpsso/#developers.

    I don’t think anyone likes bugs or fatal errors. It sounds like you’ve had one or more bad experiences with other plugins, and those experiences have influenced your reaction to an issue with this plugin, and its timely fix. We test using several different development, test, and QA environments, and most hosting providers offer a staging environment for users to test WordPress updates, new plugins/themes, and plugins/themes updates before applying them to their production environment. If you’re concerned about the stability of your production environment when updating WordPress, themes, or plugins, then taking advantage of those hosting features is always a good idea.

    As @jdembowski mentioned, most users have a very different reaction when they experience an issue and receive a quick and timely fix for that issue.
