Fatal Errors on WPEngine

    Hello all,

    Looks like the plugin is currently incompatible with sites running on WPEngine which is a lot of sites ??

    The error is as follows:

    PHP Fatal error: Class 'Racecore\\GATracking\\Tracking\\Event' not found in [site_path]/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-google-analytics-event-tracking/includes/GFGAET_Submission_Feeds.php on line 273

    Googling tells me that others have found this before with nginx setups, but nobody ever posted a solution.

    Hoping we can figure this out

    I’ll add to this and say it’s not exclusive to WPEngine, but testing it on a site in WPEngine is an easy way to reproduce the error.

    Hey @jakemason, we’ve been working with WPEngine on this but don’t have an easy solution in place yet. One thing that has worked for others has been to contact WPEngine support, let them know you’re using this plugin and the error you’re seeing, and ask them to apply the ruleset they’re using for bigwing.com to fix it for your site. I don’t know exactly what that rule/config is, but they have it documented internally somewhere.

    I’m just starting to help out with this and hope to have a fix, or at least good documentation of a fix, soon(ish). In the meantime, WPE support has been very helpful in getting the changes made when you open an issue with them.
