I’ve considered eight different cart plugins, and this is the best for my site that already has its product pages using the horrible PayPal buttons. USPSC’s shortcodes are an easy way to replace the buttons.

Unfortunately, there are serious problems. One has been mentioned several times before: the addition of a second product deletes the first one from the cart.

After changing quantity number, you have to type Tab to get amount updated. There is no immediate feedback that this is going to occur. The user needs to know what to do and what’s going on.

Changing the quantity causes Reload button to display. If this is clicked, the whole cart disappears. I don’t see that this button is needed.

@drlester do you have a website example ? I cant reproduce your problem ?
Did you take the latest version and the PHP session is available on your hosting service ?
What hosting are you using ?

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I don’t have an example right now, but I will create one and get back to you.

Somewhere I got the idea that the multiple-item problem, at least, has to do with where files are stored. The plugin wants them in /var/lib/php/session, but my host will only save PHP session files in /tmp. The hosting tech said that cannot be changed.

Mike, I don’t know if today’s plugin update made a difference, but now that I’ve set up a test site, I’m not seeing any of the above problems.

Thanks for the support! There are some formatting issues I want to tackle, but I’ll certainly be donating something if we get this operational.
