    Hi

Developed a site locally with Xampp and the plugin worked fantastically.

However sent the site live (deployed by Duplicator) and this plugin took down my site with the following error:

Fatal error: Can't use method return value in write context in /home/nordicwareau/public_html/wp-content/plugins/giftable-for-woocommerce/public/Public.php on line 232

Deactivated the plugin via FTP and the site works as intended. Now, if I go to reinstall the plugin then the public side fails with the above error whilst the admin side still functions with no signs of problems.

Your plugin is the only one I can find that allows me to do what I need (free gift with a product category purchase), so I’m hoping a resolution for this quickly. Thanks in advance. ??

    Could you confirm:
    – PHP version ? (minimal PHP version required is 5.6+)
    – WP version
    – WC version
    – Theme you are using

Ooooh, the ol’ PHP version chestnut…

Sorry, really pushed for time I didn’t notice there was a difference in PHP versions where I was editing locally versus deploying. It was 5.4.35 live and now updated to 5.6.27 and it works fantastically once again.

    Thank-you for your help. ??

    Glad you got it resolved.
