Fatal syntax error with Abstract Controller

    Just noticed an issue with Age Gate. No matter where you go on my clients Tequila site, I get the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error in?/home/customer/www/tattootequila.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/age-gate/vendor/agegate/common/src/Admin/AbstractController.phpon line?75

    Any idea why? The plugins are up to date.

    Hi @databell96,

    What PHP version are you using? That line has an arrow function that was introduced in 7.4 so if you’re below that it could be the reason? THough I’d have thought that’s be a fatal error in that scenario.

    If not I can dig deeper and see what I can work out

    i believe that turned out to be the issue. Upgraded to 8.2 and I don’t junk the errors show up anymore.
