faulty url rewrite with WPML

What’s your settings for WPML?
I haven’t added official support for WPML yet (only polylang) but I’m “working with” their support to make the plugin officially support it.

I’ve send you the settings by e-mail, not sure if you got it, but it got me thinking why you asked for those.

I noticed the Language URL format setting and switched to using an subdomain which solved the issue.

Ps. I read in another topic that you are considering making the filters dependant of each other. So that when the selection of an option in the first filter gives 0 zero results for an option in the second filter, this option won’t be shown. +1 for that option, for which we would want to make a donation.

We’ve had a long weekend here in Sweden so I haven’t checked my email until this morning. I hope to be able to support all settings for WPML in the long term so your input and screenshots are still valuable!

Ah yes, the dependant filters are a work in progress. I would release it as a beta feature to begin with since it’s very hard to predict behavior in different site setups tho. When would you need it for your project?

Yep, the subdomain does the trick and doesn’t ‘pollutes’ the url.

The project went live last weekend, but it’s still very welcome as an improvement.

I’m gonna have to take a closer look at WPML at some point ??

Okay cool. I’m going to keep working on the feature regardless and it will be out as beta as soon as I’m able (still have a regular job and other stuff to cram into each day) ??
