Favicon doesn't show

Can you check your theme header.php file to see if wp_head function is present? This is required as the plugin hooks into this function to add the favicon code in the HTML.

Thank you Harish for responding. I have decided, after much tinkering and aggravation, to do it manually and my favicon finally shows. I believe the problem was with the favicon image. The format was incorrect even though the extension was .ico. I used Gimp software to redo it and save it as an .ico and this corrected my issue.
