• Hi,
    I’m using your fantastic plugin.
But I have an issue about PDF pages and favicon.
If I insert a link to a PDF file (both if I upload it to ‘upload folder’ or to a ‘download folder’) the page that opens shows the default wordpress Favicon. And for visitors this is not the best in my opinion.
For me is ok also a no-favicon at all on this kind of page (i call them page but they aren’t of course’
Is there any work around to do that? Is it possible to delete the WP favicon? Where is it? I can’t find it to delete it.

In a old forum I found this short explanation but I can find the WP setting for that:
You can try to hack around it by set the favicon.ico at the root of the site to the icon you want to be associated with media files and use the wordpress 4.3 site icon feature to handle the icon for the html (which should have priority over the favicon.ico).

    Many thanks in advance

you can place a favicon icon in the Root folder with FTP, then the favicon will be visible when opening the PDF

You have to give it the name favicon

you don’t need a plugin for this. Try to use as few plugins as possible. Max 10 plugs, it cause problems and make the website slower
