favicon not displaying

Hi all –

I have installed a favicon on the url https://www.whichcottage.com/news but it only displays on admin pages and then not all of them, for example it always displays on https://www.whichcottage.com/news/wp-admin. On standard pages, such as the homepage, it never displays.

Any ideas please?
