Favicon Shows only in wp admin panel but not on Live Site

  • Hi,

    I have the issue of Favicon showing on Live WP site. I am using Child and Main theme bundle.

    Favicon is set via Customize option in wp admin panel. It shows on Admin panel site but not on Live site.

    Before this I used following code in header file as well in older version of WP then it shown but later at version upgrade it stopped:

    <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”https://xxx.jpg” type=”image/vnd.microsoft.icon”/>
    <link rel=”icon” href=”https://xxx.jpg” type=”image/x-ico”/>

    Please help to resolve it for me.

    I suggest bring this to the attention of the theme’s author.
