Favicon works!…except the front page

Howdy ho,
Having just started https://www.lightgreypixel.com/ I am somewhat annoyed to discover my chosen favicon – a blue square with a white stripe – displays on all pages except the front page.
I’d be less confused if it wasn’t showing at all but..it is. So, please, help!
