Favorite icon to the site

Hi all,

I would like to add a fovorite icon to the site. It explained that the icon should be names favicon.ico and places in the root of the site
(where is the index.html page).

I didn’t find a way to upload it to the root directory (is it possible?),
how do I do it in the word press ?
