Sorry to bother you guys. I am using the Avada theme, I’m not great at this stuff, but I’d like to be able to install a Favorites plugin that allows potential customers when surfing my live bands’ pages, to be able to “like” a band page so it gets saved in a shortlist for them with any other band profile pages they’ve liked, and then have the functionality that they can send me that completed list, along with any text questions they might have, when they are done. Can this plugin do that? I also don’t want them to have to sign up just to like some of my pages to send me. I’d like them to just be guests with favorites functionality.

    Thank you, Stu

    Hi, @stumur
    Thank you for your question.

Sorry. I haven’t used the Avada theme, so I don’t know about compatibility, but this plugin allows you to display a list of user favorites without signing up for your WordPress.

You can try it by setting up a development environment and using the shortcode in your theme. I don’t recommend using it on a public theme right away.

    Thanks

Thank you. I do understand the plugin will be able to make a shortlist (favorite list) of the live bands that our customers have checked out on our site, and like the look of, so want to make a shortlist, but before I proceed with installing it and testing it, could you please let me know – can that shortlist they make be sent to me somehow, along with some sort of information they can put in – like the date of their wedding, and the location or address of their wedding venue, for example? I’d need the browsing customer to be able to send me their list somehow when they’re done, and attach some details as mentioned above.. Is this standard for your plugin, or can it be added easily if not?

    Hi, @stumur
    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the standard features.
Also, in order for this plugin to store the user’s information, you need to have the user sign up for your WordPress.
What the standard features can do is to store the favorites of the signed-in user in the database. There is no ability to make secondary use of that data elsewhere.

I see. Alright, thank you so much for letting me know.
