Favorites not saved if user is not logged in

Im testing this on a test site and the posts save to the Wishlist correctly if user is logged in, but not if they are not logged in. Clicking the ‘add my list’ link shows the ajax spinner, then does convert the link to ‘remove’, but on reload of the page, the buttons go back to ‘add my list’ and the Wishlist page says ‘Sorry! Your don’t have documents.’
I found in gd-mylist-code.php that ‘login_request’ => ‘no’ is set, so that shouldnt be it. (note that your documentation says this is in the core file still)
This site is a fresh WP 4.6 install with no other plugins except for Easy Content Types. I saw that you responded on another thread that you were working on an update – will that update address this?
