    Hello,
    First, thanks for your work.

We used your plugin and it was working very well with our facebook page, until an update of Facebook APIs.

We updated FB photo sync to 0.5.5, and created a Facebook app with basic permissions, and put it live.
Now the backoffice seems to work with Internet Explorer (but thumb for albums are grey on the “Albums” part).

But with Google Chrome, on the “Import” page of FB Photo Sync, we just have this:
    ————-
    Facebook Application
    Remove App

Having issues? Click Remove App above and follow the provided instructions.
Still having issues? Search FB Photo Sync support page or post a new topic.
    ————-
And no error in javascript console.

On “Albums” part with existing albums, there is a lot of “403 Forbidden” errors from facebook (resulting in grey thumbs), and when I try to Sync, an error shown on javascript console : “Uncaught ReferenceError: FB is not defined”

On the website itself, on the page with photos album, there are some albums which was donloded before, and the rest is grey thumbs. On the console, there are a lot of “403 Forbiden” errors for each photo we cannot access.

Do you see something I miss ? Or should I add a special permission ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

Hi, sorry you are having issues. The FB updates to their API have been very challenging to maintain an easy application like this one was.

Under the “Remove App” You also need to click “Log In” and accept your FB App. If you did that and are still having issues, let me know.

    Thanks!

Hello, and thanks for your answer !
    I understand you situation !

I don’t have the “Log In” facebook button on chrome (where I’m already logged in facebook), but I have it on internet explorer and I can see and import albums from a page.

But this only import 1 image. The procedure : (I always check “Import images to media library?” )

    • Import: add an album from a list of page’s album
    • Sync say …X of 22 photos until 22 of 22
    • Albums: find this album, we see 1 photo and at the end “1 Photos” (it should be 22 photos)
    • Click “sync”, it sync 22 photos and it’s written “X of 1 photos”

Finally, we have always only 1 photo on the album.

Thanks a lot if you can have a look, and tell me if you need more info !

Try unchecking the “Import images to WordPress media library?” before you import and let me know if that works.

Also, send me the Facebook page and name of album you are trying to import so I can try it myself.

Lastly, tell me if you see any JavaScript errors in the console and what they are.

    Thanks,
    Mike

By unchecking “Import images to media library?” it’s the same : the plugin sync all the album, but at the end there is only 1 photo.

I have only font error on the console, but when I open the “Album” tab, I see 2 times:

SCRIPT5007: Unable to set property 'innerHTML' of undefined or null reference
    sdk.js (86,1260)

sdk.js seems to be the facebook SDK.

For info, there is 27 albums : 9 recently updated with 1 photo, and 18 old from a previous version of the plugin.

I give you by MP more info about the album.

    Thanks !

    Paaacman,

I sent you an email that I was successfully able to import your album without issue, so I don’t think there is anything wrong with the plugin itself. Some things to try. First, try disabling all other plugins on your site, especially other Facebook plugins. The issue could be that another plugin you have on your site is conflicting with my plugin. If that doesn’t work, you can also try changing your theme to another theme temporarily (like twentyfifteen) to see if the issue is with something in your theme. Hopefully one of those options leads to the issue you are experiencing.

    Hi Paaacman,

I haven’t heard back from you so I’m going to go ahead and close this ticket. Let me know if you’re still experiencing issues or if my suggestions fixed it for you.

    Hello Mike, I didn’t forget you ??
It just take some time to backup and restore the site on a dev environment where I can test everything…
For the moment I still have problems, I keep you informed as soon as I have more info.

    Thanks again !
